The Room is a quiet little corner of a world that’s long been left behind — built in Blender and rendered with ray tracing to bring out every drop of light and silence.
This scene shows part of an old abandoned room, furniture from the 1930s still standing where someone left it decades ago: a tall wooden wardrobe, an old washstand, and a cracked mirror hanging on the wall. The floor’s covered in shallow water, and floating in it — fallen leaves and broken bits of a window frame.
But the heart of the scene is the streetlight.
Somehow, it’s fallen — crashed right through the window. The concrete pole rests in the frame like it just stopped mid-fall. Wires and insulators hang down, tangled and still.
It’s strange — a little haunting, maybe — but there’s a kind of beauty in how the warm light spills through the glass, bounces off the water, and wraps around the forgotten furniture like a memory that refuses to fade.
The Room isn’t about destruction — it’s about what remains. Still. Quiet. Holding on.
